So in the vein of movies I’ve seen lately, I realized I haven’t touched on, oh, the ones I see in the THEATRES. So on a study break last night (I know, holiday but I’m studying. deal.) I caught MI:4 on IMAX.  

I never quite made it through MI:3 - I think I technically watched it but had no idea wtf the plot was and couldn’t care. The first MI was fun, but ages ago.  But I’d heard semi decent things about this movie and figured after some beers and wings, it would just be good fun.

it WAS fun!  surprisingly so.  Perhaps some of the Simon Pegg (awesome guy!) comedy influence, or the fact that this seemed more like a ‘team’ than just lackeys that Cruise’s character orders around.

Tried to find stuff worth reblogging form tumblr, but no luck!  So snagged the above, the second image only because 50% of the tumblr posts appear to be discussing Renner’s ass.  Which is damned fine but I admit while I DID notice, I didn’t get too distracted.  Definitely helps raise his profile (this movie does I mean, not just his ass!) before the Avenger’s movie since he’s been the random ‘who is that bow and arrow dude?’ in those trailers.

And, totally worth the extra few dollars for IMAX.  Plus, seeing Batman Rises trailer on IMAX?  Also epic win :)
