Most definitely my happy place :) easy LAZY ride today, but I think that was in order. I’ll get into more of the epic trail rides in the weeks to come. SPRING IS HERE, so all is good in the world again. Sun. Green. Horse. Blue Sky.

four days ago we were blanketed in snow. Yesterday it hit 70 F. We only just had the first bits of grass show up perhaps a week ago, maybe two, but now they’re making ground. canNOT wait until there’s greenery again! the saddest part of winter is the complete lack of color — the most you can hope for is a bluebird day when the sky is so brilliant with the white snow a blanket everywhere else. Gorgeous but still … dead. Not quite alive as spring is.

Quite warm out but overcast and breeze. bah! but that makes it easier to spend the rest of the day inside studying. Took some time this morning to ride, checking out some of the trails and catching up with a friend. Good times and Denali was in a mellow mood, making the ride quite easy and fun.
