This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.

AKA. the best sort of study break, ever :D so I’ve been doing this little bit called the FINRA Series 10 exam and it’s in 8 days. However, if I study without exercising at least a little bit, my body basically tells me to go to hell. Plus, I’ve a horse to keep happy.
So I tackled both of that this afternoon :) Lovely weather if a bit cool — but the hot summer will be here soon enough so I shan’t whine too much.
5.82 miles in 1 hour and 1 minute. Not bad!

No, I didn’t buy any but they looked SO lovely, I had to snap this photo :) (also, I am weirded out in eating colored icing, so I wouldn’t ever be able to enjoy eating one of those cupcakes. but they sure look awesome!)
I love having a kick-ass neighborhood grocery store :D
I feel better for penguins now, because they really DO fly underwater!
However, trying to capture a focus point in dim light as they ZIP by so fast? Uh … not as much fun. But got several keepers from the time I spent there, this is my favorite so far
:)
taken at The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. I’d totally mention the type of penguin but I sorta didn’t pay attention to that part of the exhibit.
specs: Nikon D3, 85mm 1.8D, ISO 1600, f/1.8, 1/125 (oddly the exact same as the otter photo I posted yesterday although the otter exhibit had a bit more light … but not much)
EDIT: per their website, it is a Gentoo Penguin. hehe, love the name!
